Farm
Hands

Join the Duurzame Growers team as a Farm Hand this season! While we love a seasoned pro, farming experience isn't a must—so if you've only grown a few houseplants, you might still fit right in! Your days will be a  mix of harvesting, washing, and packing our delicious produce for our CSA program and for farmers markets, plus getting your hands dirty with bed preparation, transplanting, and weeding!

On our small and diverse farm, no two days are the same, but we promise there’s a good rhythm to each week (and some great tunes if you’re lucky). We run on a quick pace, so a good attitude is essential. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and enjoy some laughter while working hard, we’d love to have you on board!

Farm Hand – Duurzame Growers Farm

With a new season approaching, Duurzame Growers Farm is excited to welcome Farm Hands and Market staff to our small and dedicated team. While prior farming experience is not required, it is certainly an asset.

Our work is split fairly evenly between post-harvest and field tasks. Approximately half of the time is spent harvesting, washing, and packing produce for restaurant orders and our farm store. The remaining time is dedicated to bed preparation, transplanting, trellising, and other hands-on field work. As a small, diverse farm, no two days are exactly the same—but there is a steady rhythm to each week and season.

We run a tight, well-organized operation with a very small team, so a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility are essential to having a successful and enjoyable season.
